Hi! I'm Rosie. I love helping charities to kickstart, revitalise, or grow your fundraising.

Money matters, and great fundraising can achieve real change. I love working with brilliant organisations - where I can bring my expertise to help you raise more, to do more.

Fundraising Strategy

I can do a deep-dive or lighter touch audit of your current fundraising situation and make recommendations for a strategic approach to meet your fundraising goals. This might encompass all potential fundraising streams or could focus on just one or two. I will work with you to create a usable, practical plan that doesn’t just gather dust in a corner!

National Lottery Heritage Fund

I can provide a wraparound support package for organisations applying to the Heritage Fund – including advising and reviewing, bid writing, and consulting on major supporting documents. Whether you’re a seasoned Heritage Fund applicant or looking to apply for the first time, I have experience of leading bids ranging from £25,000 - £millions.

Grant Writing & Consultancy

I can review your trusts and foundations programme and make recommendations, carry out prospect research, write and review bids and develop budgets. I have particular experience of supporting grant fundraising for the environment and heritage sector, and for small charities, including those early on in their fundraising journey.

Bespoke Training & Support

I can run a bespoke training or workshop session for you and your team, to boost confidence when starting to research or apply for grants, or to start to build a fundraising strategy for the first time. My sessions are most suitable for smaller charities (income under £1m) or teams looking to start or develop their fundraising in its early stages.

“An accessible and extremely helpful session with great tools and tips to use. The speaker was clearly passionate, with great insights and knowledge to share”

About Me

I have 14 years of experience fundraising for a wide variety of causes - spanning education, environment, homelessness, children and young people, animals and the arts.

I have developed and implemented strategies for fundraising from trusts, corporate partnerships, individual giving and legacies.

I have secured more than £8 million from the National Lottery Heritage Fund for multiple transformative projects, and led a successful £2.9 million capital appeal. For the past 7 years I have held Head of department roles, empowering teams to do the best fundraising we can do whilst also creating a collaborative and supportive working environment where everyone feels truly valued.

I've always been interested in so many things, and fundraising consultancy allows me to combine my skills and expertise developed through my career, with my love of variety and learning about the amazing work being done in our sector.

I hold a CIoF Diploma in Fundraising (Distinction).

Outside of work, I can be found out in nature, bellringing, listening to Eurovision playlists, and befriending cats (not all at the same time).

Testimonials

“As a fundraising consultant for London Wildlife Trust, Rosie has expertly worked with us to create both round one and round two successful Heritage Fund applications. Rosie has also acted as a consultant to create a three-year Activity Plan, working with consultation findings from our internal project team. The quality of Rosie’s work is excellent, and we have found Rosie to be highly effective in working with us as a team, asking for content when needed, producing drafts for review and accepting feedback. She produces high quality bid narrative with accuracy and in time for deadlines. She has also been happy to advise on additional supporting documents for example our round two budget and project timetable, as needed.”

Leah McNally, Director of Learning Youth & Communities at London Wildlife Trust
